This is one of the most popular waterfalls in Iceland to show foreigners. It´s in a river called Hvítá which is a river that has it´s origin in the meltings from a glacier. Therefor the color of the water is usually white, but when it has been warm so that a lot of ice and snow have been melting it turns light broun in color.
