I lucked into your site by accident. I am a published author looking for information on artists in Asia or elsewhere outside the United States who recorded Hawaiian and hapa-haole (songs about Hawaii with English lyrics). These can even be Hawaiian or hapa-haole songs translated into Mandarin, Cantonese etc.
A lot of this research is a matter of luck and random discoveries. Hope you can help.
With best wishes from Hawaii,
Great collection of oldies vinyl records covers you got here. Congratulation to your effort. I do shave some interest in sharing a number of Malay artist. I seek you kind permission to share the Anita Sarawak's covers. Thank you.
I'd like to interview Cyril for the next "STARS AND THEIR GUITARS". I'm at firstname.lastname@example.org
Drop me a line when you get a chance.

I'm Heather, a long time 1960's Singapore music fan and currently developing a project based on 1960's Singapore pop music for consideration as a Fulbright scholar with MTV-U. I'm now living in the San Francisco Bay Are and would love to get in touch with you in person about 60's records and the music scene in Singapore. I can be reached at email@example.com or skype at Souslesoleil90.
Ever come across a brother & sister act who had their own TV show in Hong Kong (I believe in the 70's) and they were signed with EMI. There names were Dave & Maggie Chau (but not sure if I have their last name spelled right). I used to Dave and had his album but lost it.
Hello David, check this out (singapore60smusic.blogspot.com). The Star Gazers A-Go-Go album is listed in this blog. You can learn more about them here.
Hi David,im very keen to have MP3s' of Simon Jr songs from the 60s' and 70s'.Could you pls assist me ? thank you.
Hi David, just been admiring your Asian singles sleeves. I am currently compiling volume 4 of my Exotic Beatles series and noticed you had a copy of Singapore Shan Kuan Liu Yun singing "Can't Buy Me Love" and "I Saw Her Standing There"in Cantonese. I would like to include this track. Do you have any other bizarre Beatle covers from this period? Please let me know if you are able to help. Many thanks. Jim @ Exotica Records
I collect Asian records from the 60s & 70s and often used your rather brilliant gallery as a reference point. I wonder if you could provide me with the password?
Would be great. Thanks.
Greetings from Amsterdam,
Hi, I keep visiting your gallery of Asian 45's and EP's regularly, but I noticed that it's now password protected. Is this a permanent thing, and if so is there any chance of getting a password :)
Your collection of Asian covers is the most extraordinary and fabulous collection of anything in the world! well done. I have noticed a huge number of Dutch records in our thrift stores ('opshops') here. I often want to collect them but they verge on pure ghastliness. Im sending a link to your page to a fiend who has a cd of Laos 60s pop, we play it often, would love to see it on vinyl. N
Great pics. Thanks for reminding us of the great 60s and 70s.
My GOD! look at all of this! amazing.

Wow~! you are great!
Thanks for your images.I was happy
Happy new year.
Enjoyed the photos and music. Ironically there are two David Greenfield's here in Auburn, IN.
Finally managed to sort myself out with a Live365 account! So finally get to enjoy your show. Top stuff! Really good to hear some fantastic tunes... It kinda makes it easier to understand the genre than the yahoo group managed to convey! Some things are better listened to than talked about! Also thanks for putting me onto Batlord before the yahoo group went west. I got my copy the other day and I'm enjoying it immensely. Noticed you get a name check on the sleeve notes! Top stuff.
Love all the photos (makes me rather jealous that I'm stuck in the UK! You guys get al the best gigs!!).
All the best for the future,
Jon (ex fuzztones yahoo group member!)
I enjoyed visiting. Very nice Thanks
I remember listening to the Electric Prunes in the late 60s. The "Kyrie Eleison" tune on the "Easy Rider" sound track, ect. I always thought "The Electric Prunes" would be a great name for a senior citizen psychedelic rock band. Whoops, I guess now it is.
Cutest Cat pix I've ever scene.
And no San Fran collection would be complete without a Doggie Diner head in there somewhere.
Thanks for sharing your images David.
