Lowland Streaked-Tenrec (Hemicentetes semispinosus), scuttling off to freedom. Their spines are not actually sharp to touch, but they stick in you (as Andrew found out), and are difficult to get out. For predators without opposable thumbs, they are impossible to remove, and can become infected – so they tend to leave the Tenrecs alone.
