Learning to rope a steer

She can rope one much better than I can photograph the action :-)
I came away with many blurred shots.

Interesting shot. Quite something new this time, very sportive image and you've captured excitement of this game, Sheila. The motion of the horse's feet shows how quick he was running. Gmv. :)

I must agree with JD, Shelia...........You did a fantasic job!

Panning is such a difficult exercise! I have a few decent one in my galeries, for hundreds that were blured. But when it is successful like that, it is great. Bravo!
Greg Harp28-May-2007 01:36
Outstanding capture of the action. GMV

Karen Stuebing26-May-2007 13:49
Great action shot with a nice motion blur that really adds to it, IMHO. Looks like that lasso is dead on. V.
Sue Robertson26-May-2007 13:41
I love the blur in this. I see so many of these at my camera club and they are always pin sharp.. no atmosphere or sense of movement. This is a gret shot.
JW26-May-2007 13:41
