I did one similar but it was the opposite effect. See image 58901369 - ANIMATED DUCK on my site. This one GMV. These are hard to come by and get done well! You did a great job! GMV

Great action shot. I like that his head is still with his body in motion.
lou_rozensteins16-Apr-2006 10:11
Lol! The head is so sharp, and the body must be moving fast .... wonderful shot.
Bryan Murahashi16-Apr-2006 03:19

Wow! Sheila, we are thousands of miles away but photographing the (almost) same thing! Mine was a little Pied-billed Grebe for the 15, also taking a bath :-) :-) :-) Strange but true, brain waves travel distances to affect our actions.... or twin lenses separated at birth!
Nice shot.

The little flyaway drops are just great, too.
Your title makes it perfect.

What a chilly shot Sheila - clarity and motion in one. Genial!
Buz Kiefer15-Apr-2006 19:25
Perfectly timed Sheila. Can't believe he keeps his head so still doing that. And the eye is perfect. Vote.

Guest 15-Apr-2006 11:36
That shows the wonder of nature - how it's body can move like that and the head remain motionless! GMV
Guest 15-Apr-2006 11:30
Wow! And one of you - the duck or you ;-) - managed to freeze the motion of the head to give an amazing sharpness on the eye. Superb. GMV
