Went for my first ride in a balloon. It was both exciting and disappointing.
Although foggy on the ground, it looked as if it was clearing.
Once we were aloft however, it just got worse and worse.
Nothing to see up there but a sea of white, eventually.
These 2 are commercial flight balloons, the one on the right holds 20 passengers.
We were in a private balloon,3 man basket, very difficult to take photos.
As we rose we had a good view of the paddocks full of Pattersons Curse
