Old man at Quay talking to pigeons

This is my favourite image. He was a homeless man who sat at Circular Quay in Sydney's CBD and I took many photographs of him over the past 18 months. He died in early May 2003 and I will sorely miss his wonderfully expressive face. He was 61, an Assyrian refugee to Australia.

Is sad what a good man was passed beyond the gate of world. When a man speak with the animals have a great heart. I vote.

Marvellous picture for a sweet man! Your photos, full of tenderness, get(touch) me in my heart and it is the only thing which imports me in all the arts.
