excellent composition and play of the red on her hair (implying she is married)and her redscarf (called'du-patta')...
Ilike the frame.. and the centering of subjects at times..
I guess what Aki means here is the rule thirds bit, but its does not need to be invoked on all portraits and single Headshots..One does not have a headshot of Tom cruise or Bradd Pitt on the far side unless they are standing besides the niagara or a beach front.. And anyway a visit to Aki's own portrait gallery shows most of his shots are bang in the middle of the frame !!! :-)

Sheila, most of ur portraits are suffering from placeing ur subjects in the middle of the frame, this can reduce the power of a portrait.
