Writing on pavers

15th and 16th December 2014 will be engraved in the hearts of Sydneysiders when a deranged man took hostage 17 customers and staff of the Lindt chocolate cafe in the heart of Sydney's CBD, Martin Place. The outpouring of grief for the two people who died was evident with the thousands of floral tributes in two sections of Martin Place. Tori Johnson, the manager of Lindt Chocolat Cafe and Katrina Dawson, a barrister, lost their lives that dreadful night.

A very sad day for Sydney. I have a friend that worked with Tori and I have heard nothing but praise about him. I am sure both of these Innocent victims will be long mourned and remembered. Rest in Peace.

A very touching tribute and photo. There is no sense to such ruthless acts on innocents. America shares your grief. Voted.
