Malibu Creek State Park, of over 8,000 acres, resides within the Santa Monica Mountains, with Mullholand Highway on the north. Exit Las Virgenes Rd from Fwy 101 cuts through the east side of the park, and continues to the ocean where Pepperdine University is located at the corner at Pacific Coast Hwy.
At the head trail there is a camp of 62 sites and RV parking with solar–heated shower. The hiking trails and fire roads traverse 35 miles within the park. Bicycling, fishing, horseback riding, picnicking are available within the hiking trails.
