CROSSING THE ADRIAC SEA via Ancona Harbor of Italy and Split of Bosnia into and out of Bosnia


From Lourdes we arrived at Ancona, 800 miles away, on the same day. We were ahead of the schedule, of the ferry. We waited through customs for while and rested while waiting for the ship boarding at 9PM. The Ancona harbor on this side of Italy was quite remote from the commerce center, as we were waiting in the customs building; we had some time to stroll around our building as the late afternoon sun was folding gradually on the dock.

We finally got the ferry through visa and ticket checking. We had dinner on the ferry, and met quite a few pilgrims crossing the sea. The ferry disembarked soon after as everyone was on board at night time of dark Adriac sea into Croatia-Bosnia as we all slept in our separate passenger's cabins . We got to the destination on the other side of Bosnia while the daylight was still breaking. Exiting customs were fairly quickly, we resumed onto the bus and first went on to a new country.
