PARADE

Puerto Rican Day Parade, NYC

The Puerto Rican Day Parade is always good for some lively and colorful images, so I made my way over there this afternoon. Unfortunately, I got a late start, because I wanted to watch the French Open final. This meant that I got stuck in one spot shooting between people's heads. I wanted to move down to a spot where the sun was hitting, but police weren't letting people move freely. Oh well, I guess skip the French Open next time. :-) There were 2 million people watching the parade.

Alternate for today here:

Nikon D50 ,Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G ED AF-S DX
1/400s f/5.0 at 120.0mm iso800 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Excellent... Look at that wonderful expression on the girl who isn't looking at the camera. Good work.

Beautiful expressions, beautiful colours and light! One of the girls saw you... but was happy, I think.
The bokeh is very nice. This is a very good capture.
(I do nothing in such events...)
