Project "Organ" - work in Progress

My brother in law had the idea of building an organ.... and my father made it happen.
Almost, since work is not finished yet, but the organ can already be played by now.

The organ pipes come from three different church organs who have been disassembled and replaced by newer ones. For size reasons Erich used closed wooden pipes for the deep and middle tones and metal pipes only for the high tones. Everything else in the organ is self made by Erich.

I also have a gallery of pictures when the organ was "inaugurated" by the famous organist Peter Planyavsky here: http://www.pbase.com/sharif/orgeleinweihung
