Kal, this is a very simple but powerful image... what strikes me immediately is his relaxed stance - there is no tension or vulnerability in him - s if he is used to this...?

I was just going to note that it seems like you are still in Shanghai, but now see that Daniel notes it as well in his comment. He is correct -- urban areas the world over have always contrasted the glory of the "haves" to desperation of the "have-nots." This image strikes a familiar note, and does it well.
