Jen pretty much sums up what I would say about this one, Kal. The incongruity of a soft child in a hard place is chilling. He doesn't think so, because he does not, and probably never will, know any better.
I like this better. The boy's expression pops out right from this monochromatic and cold place. He was surrounded by all the rocks and standing at the edge of stone wall, it seems a hard world to a boy like him, but he never realize that..He is there, with his dreams and always curious about the world. I wonder, when he grows up, will he still like this world as much as he does now..
