This is from the San Diego Botanical Gardens. Instead of doing much Macro that day I decided to work on some HDR. This is one of my favorites from that meet up with the Pacific Photographic Society. Great group by the way. They are in San Diego, CA. Very nice group of photog's.
Took all the kids to the park for a picnic. Lots of fun. Should have gotten a picture of them all together. oh well, next time.
Too many guitars. My favorite one is one slated to go. Very pretty but not the best to play. Bye Schecter.
Finaaly chased all those pesty ant's away. We are having a battle to beat all battles. So much for loving all of God's creatures. Spray those counters!
This was not a good thing but then I did say I was just chronicling my life so here goes. Under all my clean dish towels I discovered a major ant farm. So many ants and babies it was truly amazing. I have never seen such a thing. Last year I thought I had seen everything when they were flowing out of the interior of my coffeemaker. But now this goes even beyond that. Patience... I have none!
Beautiful Open Spaces. Kind of getting rare in Southern California.
Just fooling around with an old photo of my hunny's dad. Didn't spend much time but it came out pretty good for a quick job. Really wouldn't mind getting more into this. My daughter Carla is a master at reconstruction. Much better than I am but I am learning.
These little house finches will not be here much longer. Hard to believe but they will all fly awa in just a few more days. They grow up so fast. Have to keep an eye out so they don't get eaten by the dog on their first trial flight. They all made it safely. Wahoooo!
I had an assignment to take a photo for the last Pixel river contest and the theme was Party. I decided to go to Chipoltle and try and create my own party. The birds were cooperative but no great photos so here is just one that doesn't exactly say Parrrrrrty!
I would LOVE to be the trainer and get all the kisses of this pretty kitty. It was really amazing getting to watch him being licked and cuddled by this incredible animal.
Thanks sweetie, Flowers from the yard are the best ever. These happen to be from Carla, Mindy brought me a beautiful bunch a few weeks ago. Wish I would have thought about photos then.
Weddings and babies are always a good excuse to get together with family. This family really doesn't need much of an excuse. We love to parrrrrty. Young, old and in-between, we only miss a gather if we absolutely can't get there. Large Family = Food, Fun, and Laughs.
