Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve located near Lithonia,Georgia and is a protected nature area containing a large granite rock outcropping that is millions of years old. Arabia is famous for the swirling rock pattern known as Lithonia gneiss. On the rock are carved out pockets called "Solution Pits". These pits contain a red flower known as Diamorpha that blooms a brillant red in the Spring. There are also a variety of lichens, mosses, yellow Jasmine and yellow daisy's to name a few.
