Cali had several litters and when I finally got her to the clinic - she was pregnant again, but they spayed her and now she is getting chubby from eating rather than growing babies. She is a lovely shorthair calico. She would get friendly when she was near term to have a litter, but then get skittish when the babies were weaned. She was a great mother - taking babies from other mothers who didn't tend to them enough. I have her mother (tested negative for FeLV) who is a sweetie, and I'm really protective about thinking what kind of home Cali ends up in... She needs someone gentle and patient - I think they would end up with a truly wonderful lady cat.
