SESQUICENTENNIAL WAGON TRAIN

This wagon train is winding through the Twin Cities this weekend to mark Minnesota's 150th anniversary.

About 20 wagons started the trip in Cannon Falls this week.

The caravan stopped at Fort Snelling on Saturday, and traveled on Sunday through neighborhoods in South Minneapolis and through the St. Paul neighborhoods of Highland Park and Summit Avenue, the later of which is where I shot these photos.

The wagon train finished its hundred-mile trip at the Capitol.
