There is no way I would have got this shot with the 40-150, he would have been just out of reach and with the hard wind and all, I am sure I would have missed this one. Can't wait to try out the teleconverter next! I'm quite pleased with the lens alone. I am happily surprised. I would have had to work hard for some of these shots that I took more like snap shots, with the other lens. I loved the kit lens but I really feel (not the weight only) a big difference. I am truly surprised.
