This storm spawned a small funnel and a huge amount of strong wind. We were out
photographing this and then poked around too long and got caught in the wind/dirt
storm. Michael (our friend from England) had never seen such a sight! The dirt
was stirred up from 60 mph winds and it looked like a sand storm in a desert. We
made it back to the hotel and luckily we had a corner room on the 4th floor and
got to watch the dirt blowing from our windows. It was pretty neat!
