Saigon is the largest city in Vietnam, with a population exceeding 8 million people. To go with those 8 million people, there are over 3 million motor scooters and motorcycles on the road. It is likely that approximately 1/3 of them will be on whatever street you are on at the time. Even though Vietnam is a communist country, you would never know it by looking at the young population of the city. The country is very economy oriented, with construction going on everywhere, all the top U.S shopping stores are there, and dress is very much westernized.
