Unfortunately, our first afternoon in Sibenik we had one of our very few rain days and it occurred on the last day of the Mardi Gras festival. Although people were still in costumes in the street, the rain kind of dampened the day's festivities. The next day however we were able to go to Krka National Park, where there is a spectacular series of waterfalls over a large area of the park.
