Lake Titicaca is famous for the Uros Islands, where the Uros Indians live on floating "islands" made of reeds that grow in the shallow waters of the lake. We also hiked one of the Inca trails near the lake and visited and had lunch in the remote community of Copamaya with the Aymara Indians. A day trip also took us into Bolivia and the city of Copacabana at the southern end of the lake.
