Morocco contains several mountain ranges, including the Middle-Atlas, High-Atlas, Anti-Atlas, and Riff mountains. The second highest mountain in Africa (after Kilimanjaro) is Mt. Toubkal, at 13,671'. It is easily visible from Marrakech which is about 35 miles to the north.
