This is an Argentinian military/research station on the Antarctica mainland on the south shore of the Antarctic Sound at the north end of the Antarctic Peninsula. There are approximately 12 buildings as part of the complex, with an expected 60 people expected to stay over the Antarctic winter. Eight children have been born at the station since its inception.
