POWELL STREET

I don't quite understand what these are. They expanded the sidewalks on the bottom 2 blocks of Powell Street for pedestrian traffic and installed these. They are made of wood and metal. There are a few with solar panels on top.
I don't quite know what I think of them either.

Makes a great image but in reality seems like it would impede foot traffic. Very nicely done though, Dallas!
