First evening together was to settle down, get provision for the trip in the Promontory Bay. Later we went for a stroll through the Balboa Island waterfront. Our kids became acquainted with each other, and seemed to have a great time together.

1st time visitors are usually impressed by the ambiance of Balboa Island, and so it was this time as well. The water front is nowadays less illuminated, quieter, but still breathtaking.

Sleeping was... under the open sky on the deck. Nobody wanted to stay in the cabin. Every chunk of free space, including even the flat dinghy on the fore-deck, was suddenly occupied by sleep bags.
