Natalie and I visited Sukothai on our way sounth from Chiang Mai. We stayed in the new town, and caught a songthaew to the Old City the next day, and explored on bicycles. The weather was not the best (it is rainy season, after all!), but we both thoroughly enjoyed it regardless.
