It didn't take me long to realise that I really liked Saigon; it's a busy, vibrant city with a population of 11,000,000 and over 3,000,000 motorbikes. The streets here are surprisingly clean (they get grubby by the end of the day, but it seems that the rubbish is disposed of each morning), the people are very friendly, and so far I've not come across any of the crime that the place is renowned for (fingers crossed).
Some of my photos are now available to buy in a variety of sizes and finishes, or as digital files, at Serenity Photography.

Serena ... enjoyed your Saigon gallery and your comments on the city and the people. I agree wholeheartedly. I've just posted a gallery on 1966 Vietnam that may interest you ... http://www.pbase.com/tombriggs/vietnam
