Journey to Leh

On 24th July I set off from Manali on a two day road trip to Leh in Ladakh. The scenery was spectacular, especially on the second day.

I had looked forward to returning by road, but unfortunately a natural disaster caused severe flooding and landslides to many areas of Ladakh, and knocked out the roads from Srinigar and Manali. I stayed around to help with relief work for a a couple of weeks, before flying to Delhi.
