Diving Sabang

I finally got around to diving from Sabang Beach, Puerto Galera, Mindoro Oriental, Philippines - and I can see why everyone raves about it!

I've been going through a stage where all my equipment decided to give up the ghost at once. My camera had to be sent back to Japan, and only returned in time for my last day.

Hi im Shaun from Australia i visit Oriental Mindoro every year as my Girl Friend(Fiance now) lives there in Puerto Galera working as a manageress in a popular resort there another beautiful place to dive.I started diving there 5 years ago and still go back for more.Nice pics would love to share some of mine with you.By far the best place for nudibranchs would be the Boulders around off Sabang Point.Absolutely Love the place.Cheers love to her from you

Thanks for your kind comments, and votes. Dodgy fishing methods have probably had the most detrimental effects on the reefs over here - dynamite fishing, etc.

Komodo Island - did you see any komodo dragons in the water?

extraordinarily beautiful & such vivid color. Reminds me of the coral reefs off Komodo Island (near Bali). A shame that so many of these reefs are being destroyed by pollution & overtouristation.
