This was the month that my dear friend, Lindy Boggs, died at the age of 97. She had served her State and country well as a U. S. Congresswoman from New Orleans for 18 years. Then, at the age of 77 she accepted the request of President Bill Clinton to serve as Ambassador to the Holy See (the Pope) which she did honorably for 7 years. I cherish her memory.
