This was the month that we had more rain to top our 29 inches in December. The New Orleans Saints won the NFC in football and were on their way to the Super Bowl and New Orleans and Louisiana and the Gulf Coast were going wild with Saints football mania.
We had freezing temperatures for 8 days straight and even the ponds at Lafreniere Park were frozen over. Our normal temperature for this time of the year is 50-60 degrees.
