The water on the eastern end of the Spillway is still raging, but the western end has some dry spots, thanks to the closing of the locks on that end.
The train trestle in the background is the Illinois Central-Canadian National line.
I am hoping that the live oaks will recover well after standing in rushing water for almost a month.
