A Luxurious Tugboat

Mississippi River

Stewart asked if tugboats always rode that low in the water so I am showing this closeup. This must ride this low to be able to push things in front of them with leverage.

A striking picture of a super boat to impress us 'landlubbers'! It's always so interesting to hear your commentary on life in New Orleans. And your galleries are a piece of Amercian History that we are privileged to share.

What a wonderfully bright, clear day. I hope you enjoyed the weekend and were able to forget, for a while, last week's troubles.

That is so sad about the flowers and I am so glad that Elgin is doing OK. Have fun Sunday!

Well it does sound like you have had a rough week Coleen. I wish your husband a speedy recovery. What a shame about your flowers at Perilloux Place, it is so upsetting.

Lovely image of the tugboat, the framing with the trees is wonderful!

Wonderful image, I do miss the river and the traffic it has. You do get to see some wonderful boats. Have fun a Jazz Fest.

a very nice shot of the tug. sorry to hear about the flowers being decimated - a shame before they got the chance to seed and very disheartening for you. Best wishes to your husband for his recovery.

Now, if only Rolls Royce made tow trucks.... Slow down a little, Colleen. You're sounding a little frazzled. Great shot. Vote

Excellent shot Coleen. My best to you and yours. I hope your husband gets renewed vision--and that the bluebonnets and buttercups will come back better than ever next year and thereafter.

Dear Colleen; I love this picture of the tugboat, it's really very beautiful. It looks almost like a paddle wheeler. Like for instance the Delta Queen. Sorry about your flowers, but unfortunately, bureaucrats are not trained to think, just to obey. Your friend, Al Lee

Wonderful Shot

Sad to hear about the county... seems governments all over are the same ~ no real thought or reason, just go ahead and do...
