Ahhh, the Sea

Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans

I hope to look at this peaceful shot a lot in the next days, if I can get to my computer.
The workmen are here again tearing out the walls of the last Katrina room to be reconstructed. That means moving everything again, all over the house. Workmen tromping through the garden carrying wallboards to the curb, sheetrock dust and insulation everywhere.
Oh my, it is more than my spirit can handle today.

It sounds like you are almost finished. Hang in there a little while longer. The worst is over.
This is a magnificent scene. The sailboats pop right out of the photo. v

Lovely shot Coleen... and it sounds like you are close to finsishing your restore. That is very good news.

something carefree about yachts sailing before the wind, especially a myriad of
yachts with different coloured sails as in this shot. The colours of the sky and water
are very appealing. I hope the building work is over soon.

Looks Lovely. Gee thats been said.

Hang in there Coleen. Nothing so tests the spirit as home remodeling--even when it's voluntary. This is a terrific image, I'd love to be out there sailing...

Is this THE lake Coleen? Looks very calm and it's good to see the return of sailboats.
Glad that you're on your last room. It won't be long now.

This scene is a wonderful diversion from the construction chaos

It looks like a good turn-out for some type of regatta.
What a nice alternative to the toil and turmoil in the construction zone.
