The Colonnade

All of the bricks have been pressure washed and a new staghorn fern collection (hanging on the columns) was donated by someone. When Katrina was approaching all of the staghorn ferns were laid down on the walk to protect them from the wind. However, two weeks of sitting in salt water killed them.

What a lovely image Coleen, it is so beautiful. I can just imagine sitting on one of those benches, relaxing and reading a book.
