This is my brother's cap. He was wounded twice, once on Pelilieu and once on Okinawa and received two Purple Hearts at a time when they were not so easily presented. He was not yet old enough to vote at the time.
Later he became a teacher, coach, high school principal, sheriff's office administrator and community leader. He has lived his entire life for others and helping others to achieve their goals.
