Two weeks after school classes began in August, 2005, this courtyard was filled with water for three weeks following Hurricane Katrina. The school reopened in January. The do or die spirit of the Ursulines enabled the campus and buildings to be restored and graduation to be held in the Courtyard for the class of 2006.
The roof still needs more repair work. Notice the "blue roof" patches.
