The entire area still looks like this with no one there. 80 per cent of New Orleans still looks like this and some areas look much, much worse than this. You can see how the house on the right was forced off its foundation by the force of the water.
Notice the live oak trees behind the houses are still alive and putting on their new leaves.
And, as always, I ask myself the question "where did all these people go?"
