Magnolia

I am having a dilemna today about which to choose for PaD so I am also showing the alternate.

And, this was my alternate. I also found a blooming Shell Ginger http://www.pbase.com/image/43326345.

GMV! I've tried to get such a picture. Well done.

I really like the perspective on the magnolia! Very nicely done!

The composition makes it look man-sized! Nice one.

Lovely flower photos, Coleen, The magnolia is terrific. Looks like a lazy susan. The scale of the flower next to the bush foliage is surreal. Good work!

What kind of chance did I have ... in competition with two flowers. (On the other hand, the pic of me also had a naked lady, sort of.)

I love them both. I wouldn't have ever been able to decide. Beautiful flowers.

Really pretty....I'll bet it smells wondeful, too.

Both are beautiful images!

Beautiful! Interesting to see the flower 'falling apart', and the insect is a bonus! :)

Both images are very good!

You could not go wrong with either....the magnolia is one of my favorite trees. I even like it after the bloom is gone.

Gorgeous... it looks huge!

Gorgeous shot and best choice... although they are all stunning. You did have a big photo day.

Like the one you chose - it looks huge.
Off to Mum's tomorrow- she says 'her' swan has 9 signets! I sense an easy PaD!!!

not sure i can choose between them, they are both lovely images.

The magnolia is wonderful. I love the way it cups the fallen stamens.
Guest 13-May-2005 21:26
The petals look like little bowls, very nice!
Lee Rudd13-May-2005 21:21
Both are lovely, Coleen - I think the white one is my pick though, because you have captured it in the state it is in, the stamen littering the petals look like a collection of matches
