Bald Eagle Trying out the Nest for Size-October 2, 2012

Louisiana

She is still not content with it and they are still carrying branches to add to it. Considering that she will have to spend several months in this nest, I do not blame her for wanting it "just so". This tree is about 60 feet in the air and about 100 yards away from where I stand.

Canon EOS 40D
1/250s f/7.1 at 420.0mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

He better get it right for her or he'll be in the doghouse for the rest of his life :-)

She doesn't look content with the result. It is amazing that they've got so much done so far. Wonderful to see it going up before our very eyes, thanks to you. I hope you get some relief from back troubles. Hugs! BV

It looks like a sturdy new home, it will be interesting to see how everything goes in the next few months.

I would imagine it has to be comfortable for her. Really enjoying this series. I hope there are some babies in the future.

Well they do have to make sure it is hurricane proof.
I enjoy the story in chapters.
