Villa St. Maurice - a home for the elderly -closed

This structure, closed by the Archbishop, should be operating in full force to house the elderly who lost their homes in Katrina. From all appearances it is still a sound structure. Church bureaucracy!
I am a Roman Catholic so my criticism of the Church cannot be seen as anti-church but as an embarrassment to those who could be helping people in need. They could at least board up the broken windows to avoid deterioration of the buildng.

I agree with you... the last time I visited a Catholic Church it was evident the Church had the resources to build and/or re-build substantial structures.

I'm with you 100% on this one.
