Steamboat House

Holy Cross Neighborhood in New Orleans

The house suffered mostly wind damage as it was out of the reach of the high flood waters and located almost on the Mississippi River Road.
The white garlands on the galleries are made of cypress.

Wow, what a great house! So decorative and unique! It does look like a steamboat!

I've never seen a house with strings of pearls on it before. It's very pretty.
