Built in 1801 as a wedding gift from a father to his daughter,Francoise Bringier when she married Christophe Colomb at the age of 14.
Bocage has been restored to its original style with the double stairs leading to the second floor gallery.
Listed on the National Historic Register, Bocage is now offered for tours and is open as a Bed and Breakfast where guests can sleep in beds made by the famous Prudent Mallard and eat from Limoges china. It is a tourist-friendly home where guests need not worry of roped off areas and "touch-me-nots".
