River Road at Carville

Carville, Louisiana

Patients at the Leprosarium could only look through the fence and wish for a time they could travel this road to the outer world.
The paved road ended here at the boundary line of the Leprosarium and the Elayn Hunt Correctional Center. The cattle belong to the Correctional Center. One cannot travel the River Road in this area for several miles, but must detour and then go back to the River.

I agree with Stu, you are being watched by the backmarkers.

Not at all how I imagine Louisiana. This could be Scotland. Wonderful bucolic image.

I'll just bet that they aren't traveling at 25 mph! lol
