Bonnet Carre' Spillway

The River has risen more than 5 feet since May 11. Downriver in New Orleans the water is very near the top of the levees, especially near the Industrial Canal.
The Corps still has no plans to open the Spillway this year.

I was reading this morning that they think El Nino is coming back which usually puts a damper on hurricanes. Lets hope.
