Louisiana River Road in Fog

Vacherie, Louisiana

In Louisiana the Mississippi River has many twists and turns and the River Road is designed to follow its curves. In fog, a curve in the road such as this can be very hazardous. These curves are locally referred to as "dead man's curve".
