Three buildings are being constructed (in background) and boys attend classes in portable classrooms.
The gazebo is a replica of the historical one that was the entrance to the school on the Old Campus near the Mississippi River on Dauphine Street. This new school is 15 miles away from that site and nearer to Lake Pontchartrain.
The historical gazebo is in storage and will be installed when the new school is completed. Tradition is a large part of Holy Cross.
